Independent Health

"It's critical that we operate 24 hours a day," says Kim Gonzales, facilities manager for Independent Health in Williamsville. Frey Electric designed and installed electric and data systems - virtually everything involving wire or cable - in the HMO's four buildings. It now handles maintenance and upgrades for the company.

Since becoming a Frey Electric client in 1986, Independent Health has enjoyed impressive system performance. "We've never had downtime because of electrical problems," she says.

M&T Bank

M&T Bank in Buffalo chose Frey Electric from among competing bidders on a project requiring installation of a new uninterrupted power supply (UPS) system with battery backup.

"Frey had the right people, their numbers were good, they were willing to start immediately and were certainly enthusiastic about the whole thing," says Gerry Siuda, vice president of construction space planning for M&T Bank. "And they had done this kind of thing before." UPS systems have become increasingly important in business, particularly in banking or other industries dealing in highly sensitive data that must be accessible around the clock by customers and workers. "Much of our information necessary to do business flows through that building electronically," says Siuda. "We can't afford to take a chance on a system that could become unreliable."

Ralph Wilson Stadium

Systems also have to be trustworthy at Ralph Wilson Stadium - home of the Buffalo Bills, where Frey Electric was part of a 10 year, $100 million project. The company installed systems for power and lighting in 75 new luxury suites in the stadium and in a 75,000-square-foot training center and office building on the property.

"Frey Electric has always been responsive to our demanding electrical needs," says Bill Munson, vice president of operations for the Buffalo Bills. "Their experienced technicians have an extremely proactive attitude toward completing any of our projects."
